The CO2 Fire Extinguisher is the preferred choice for electrical equipment fires and environments where contamination from extinguishing agent is unacceptable. Carbon dioxide displaces oxygen, smothering the fire without leaving any corrosive residue that could damage sensitive equipment.
SOLAS and MED approved units are available for marine engine rooms and electrical panel rooms. Available from 2kg portable units to 22kg trolley-mounted units for larger protected areas.
